MOJO188--Good Luck Card

For two special young boys in 3rd & 4th grade that I private tutor, I made a good luck card for our TAKS tests (state-mandated tests for math and reading) using Mojo Monday's square sketch challenge as my inspiration. 

Paper:  variety of paper from various places

 Ink and Ribbon: SU Early Espresso and blue/white ribbon

Stamps & Punches: Scallop Edge Trim, X-Large Circle and Scallop Circle punches, Owl punch, and Word Window punch

Embellishments: pearlized brads, buttons, and stampin' dimensionals

SSSC114--Baby Shower

Tonight I also created a special baby shower card for a colleague of mine who's having a girl.  I used the Sweet Sunday Challenge for the sketch and the Stampin' Celebration Inspiration Challenge for the colors.  Enjoy!

Scrapbooking Again!

YAY!  I'm back...after being out of commission for the past 2 1/2-3 weeks, I'm able to finally scrapbook again.  During a school function, I fell on my right foot/ankle and ended up pulling all of the ligaments in my foot and ankle and fracturing my cuboid (I'm not pretending I know what that is).  I've had to sit/lay with an elevated foot and was finally able to begin putting pressure on it this week.  So, I'm now able to hang out in my scrapbook room and scrapbook again.  AMEN!
I've taken on two challenges today:  Card Patterns Sketch 112 and Colour Q Challenge #81

WOW! Double Post Day...

In getting ready for our big TAKS tests (Texas standardized testing in which 5th graders must pass Math and Reading in order to be promoted to 6th grade), I've been working on a little somethin' to brighten my students' day.  They take the tests TOMORROW and Tuesday (back-to-back)!  This cute water bottle tag idea came from my good friend, Erica @ Pink Buckaroo Designs.  

This time I remembered to add my new watermark!  Still getting use to all of this!
